Paige Burchell is owner & collector at ‘Forget Me Not’ by EmmaPaige in Toronto, Ontario.
Paige has been collecting ladies high-end vintage fashion for only 2 years, but has a great eye for quality, unique vintage fashions and is knowledgeable in the history of design. You can find ‘Forget Me Not’ by EmmaPaige at vintage clothing & antique shows around the city, online at http://www.emmapaigevintage.com or you can book a private appointment to visit her studio in Toronto and browse hundreds of dresses, jackets, opera coats, furs, hats, purses…the list goes on!
‘Forget Me Not’ has also sold pieces to the Canadian TV show Bomb Girls
Paige graduated from the Fashion Techniques & Design program at George Brown College in 2010. Since fashion design is her background don’t be surprised if you see re-worked vintage in the mix. The average modern-day woman can’t always pull off wearing a full length gown with puffed sleeves to a dinner party. Cut off the puffs, shorten the skirt, reinforce the seams, add a little of this…a little of that…tah dah! You have yourself a modern-day cocktail dress re-worked from the original vintage silhouette, perfect for any event! Old fur coats have been re-worked into earmuffs, collars and headbands. Selling, buying and re-working vintage keeps our world a greener place!
Pieces in the ‘Forget Me Not’ collection are timeless, elegant, feminine and unique as the women who wear it.
‘Forget Me Not’ by EmmaPaige will be at the Toronto Vintage Clothing Show April 14th booth #4! Paige has given us a sneak peek into what we can expect at the show…
Original vintage lace wedding dresses from the 1930’s, 1940’s, 1950’s and an original 1920’s silk veil are just a few of the exquisite pieces you will find at the show.
