We are anxiously counting down the days until our spring vintage clothing & textile show this coming Sunday. We hope you have enjoyed getting to know some of our vendors here on our blog and we hope you will continue to follow along.
We will have 30 vintage clothing & textile exhibitors at Sunday’s show who have been working hard to bring you the best vintage show this spring. Their best pieces are currently being steamed, tagged and packed up to make the trek to The Wychwood Barns for Toronto’s most anticipated Vintage Clothing Show. Not letting this rain set us back! April Showers bring may flowers!
We’ve given you just a taste of what you can expect as far as clothing, jewelry and vintage accessories that can be found at Sunday’s show. But please keep in mind that’s just a taste of what you can expect! We have many other fabulous exhibitors that we can’t wait for you to meet!
Toronto born and bred, Pulver Zajfam began collecting and wearing vintage clothing in the 1970’s. She used vintage clothing as a way to stand out and a way to get better bang for your buck. Pulver’s interests range from the Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco eras through to the 1950’s and 60’s. This 1920’s French sequined cap is just one of the many treasures you will find at her booth.
Margaret Piltzmaker collects vintage clothing and accessories and has been an exhibitor at all major vintage shows for the last 20 years. With a love for vintage lace, she has told us that she is saving a 1930’s heavy ecru satin wedding gown for the show this Sunday. She explains that although the gown is relatively plain in design it has the most amazing train with the most exquisite lace.

Adeline Pelosi’s bio was too good to touch. She has captured the true and honest story of collecting and selling vintage in just a few words.
“My journey on the path of antique/vintage collecting started quite by accident…I think? My quest of finding a “treasure” on every outing became an obsession. By “treasure” I mean, a simple cup and saucer, a piece of vintage ribbon, anything that caught my eye and could not live without! My interest for vintage dresses was sparked by my daughter’s wedding. The pursuit to create a unique and personal theme was the focus. Through determination, countless ventures and endless hours…mission accomplished! The wedding party and mother of the bride were successfully dresses in true vintage style. Of course, it did not end there. The treasure hunting had expanded its categories and the thrill of finding the worn and wonderful goes on. I have met so many wonderful people on my journey, all unique and inspiring in so many ways, all part of my “collection” of kindred spirits.” -Adeline
