Imagine this…a warm spring day, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping (or are those shoppers buzzing?!) After taking a stroll through the Country Heritage Museum and learning a few fun facts about the history of agriculture and farming you wander the stalls upon stalls of fabulous antique exhibitors. Maybe you’re searching for that perfect piece to finish off a room in your home, a piece that needs a little TLC but is guaranteed to be something magnificent or maybe you’re just browsing for that antique/vintage piece that calls out to you! Whatever brings you out to the Milton Antique Expo on June 8th you’re guaranteed a great time! Not only will you be surrounded with happy shoppers, sunny skies *hopefully*, classic stories of “my Grandma used to have this exact cookie jar!” but the exhibitors are guaranteed to be the best of the best! Making the trek from all over Ontario and Quebec to bring you the best show with top quality pieces, collectables and gems that are looking for a happy home. The scene is perfect! Shoppers who share the same interest, knowledgeable exhibitors set up on 80 acres of an interactive heritage park…a theme song playing in your head, which really sets the mood. Hang on! That’s not in your head…it’s in the air! That’s right folks, we will have not one, but TWO musical performances at our Antique Expo on June 8.
The Greasemarks will be returning for a second year, playing at various locations during the day. Happy to announce they will be returning on June 8 and will be entertaining periodically throughout the day. When they’re not performing, they will be hauling heavy purchases to the purchase pick-up area for loading! Thanks guys!
The Greasemarks have been playing “50’s rockabilly raw and young since 2007.” http://www.greasemarks.com
Also joining us for live entertainment is folk/roots singer Peter Shaw! An accomplished singer/guitar player with a unique ability to entertain and interact with his audience. Originally from Australia where he spent his youth, Peter has been performing for audiences in Ontario for over 30 years! Peter will be performing from 11:00-2pm in the food court on June 8.
